Writer Michael Chabon started work on his bestselling debut novel, Mysteries of Pittsburgh, as an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, and the book’s characters travel widely around the city. Join writer Sherrie Flick and Hattie Fletcher on this walking tour retracing some notable Oakland settings and scenes from the novel and considering how a place inspires story.
